Connacht – Royal Blue Corduroy

£ 850.00

Connacht is one of the four provinces of Ireland, taking its name from Conn of the Hundred Battles, one of the high Kings of Ireland.  The province encompasses, amongst others, the western counties of Mayo, Sligo and Roscommon with whom the Lucan family were closely connected. The Irish spelling serves to distinguish it from Mayfair’s Connaught Hotel, which like its predecessor the Coburg, was named after a royal dukedom, and became byword for luxury in Edwardian times. Wear with jeans or chinos, a perfect outfit to try out the mixologist’s latest creation at the eponymous Connaught Bar. This splendid jacket is a true investment piece.
